Dr Paul J Olsovsky conducted laboratory research throughout his career such as transplantation of annelid brain tissue at the University of Maryland. He also gained experience culturing comeal and endothelial cells at Ohio State University and in the identification of prostate carcinoma using the Ki-67 monoclonal antibody at The John Hopkins Hospital. Dr Paul J Olsovsky also developed an Atherosclerotic and Diabetic Rat Model and tested the effect of Deforoxime on skin flap survival from 1986 to 1989, in the same year
Dr Paul J Olsovsky continued his laboratory research in excimer laser application to ohthalmic surgery.
Part of his research included using Hydroxyapatite in the reconstruction of cats Cranio-Facial Skeleton in the year of 1990 until 1992. Dr Paul J Olsovsky investigated Glypressin and its role in controlling Epistaxis and Turbinate Cytokines and their reletionship to Nasal IgG/IgE. He also implemented and designed Electromagnetic Hearing Aid Devices.
Dr Paul J Olsovsky investigated and developed Phthalocyanines and their uses when they are combined with argon fluoride lasers in treatment of squamous cell carcinoma from 1992 to 1994. He also studied Nude Mouse Model of Squamous Cell Carcinoma.
Dr Paul J Olsovsky loves giving back to the community. He volunteered in many foundations such as Promise Keepers in 1996, soup kitchen from 1993 until 1995, American Cancer Society from1988 to 1989 and he was also a head coach in St. Andre’s 4th and 5th Grade Baseball Team from 1986 until 1988.
